Lacey Sharp earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida. She received her Masters (M.S.) and Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Sharp completed her professional externship at the Atlanta VA Medical Center Audiology Clinic. Following her externship, she worked at Emory University Hospital alongside the Emory Neuro-otology team from 2016-2018. Dr. Sharp became associated with ACA in March 2018 and is located in Sandy Springs office.
Dr. Sharp is licensed by the state of Georgia as an audiologist. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology (GAA). She served on the 2018 GAA Convention Committee and has been the GAA Secretary since 2016. Dr. Sharp was named a 2019 Academy Scholar by the American Academy of Audiology for achieving 50 continuing education hours in a two year period.
Dr. Sharp lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and her dog, Eve. She enjoys soccer, water sports, baking and traveling.
