Founded in 1981, NAP is an interdisciplinary, nonprofit organization, with membership representing 14 health care professions willing to serve as distinguished advisors to health care policy makers in Congress and elsewhere. The 14 academies of practice within the NAP include: Audiology, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatric Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, Speech-Language Pathology and Veterinary Medicine.
Membership in the NAP is an honor extended to those who have excelled in their profession and are dedicated to furthering practice, scholarship and policy in support of inter-professional care. We are very proud to announce that Kristie Jo Goerndt received her hearing aid dispenser’s license from the State of Georgia.Â This allows Kristie to independently provide hearing aid services to our patients in the Buckhead office location. Congratulations, Kristie!
We continue to add competent staff to our practice as we proudly announce the addition ofÂ Melissa Beck to the BuckheadÂ front office team. We are excited about welcoming Dr. Katie Esau to serve our Marietta patientsÂ and invite all to visit her at our Marietta office.
Welcome to our new Audiology Assistants, Solomiya,(Miya) Â Fedyna Wright (who just got married- CONGRATULATIONS!) and to Elsie Lundeen.Â Miya will be working with Dr. Sheila Pack in our Griffin office and Elsie will be working with Dr. Smith in our Roswell office.
We also welcome our new Support Staff team members: Allison Folds in our Marietta office, Tricia Clemons in our Buckhead office and Lynn SirLouis in our Duluth office.
Ashley Pickens and Danielle Jeffords join our practice to become Audiology Assistants.Â They are both participating in the Nova Southeastern University Program for Audiology Assistants and will apply for Georgia state registration as an Audiology Assistant upon completion of the program.Â We welcome them both and are excited to have you meet them.
