Melissa Mooney, Au.D., Lic.-A
Melissa Mooney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Maryland in 2006 and was a University Scholar in the Life Science Program. She received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2010 from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, completing her Capstone research entitled: Role of Alpha Synuclein in Noise Induced Hearing Loss. Dr. Mooney recently finished a two year term on the Board of Directors of the American Balance Society (ABS).
Dr. Mooney is licensed by the state of Georgia as an audiologist. She is a board certified audiologist with the American Board of Audiology (ABA) and a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She became associated with ACA in the fall of 2011 and is based in our Gwinnett office.
Originally from West Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Mooney now resides in Atlanta.
